Nebraska football getting September visit from safety Zykee Scott

Class of 2027 three-star safety Zykee Scott is scheduled to visit the Nebraska football program for the first time on September 19. This will take place as the Huskers get ready to take on the Michigan Wolverines. This was reported by Rivals.com’s Tim Verghese.

Scott is the No. 37 overall linebacker in the 2027 class and the No. 14 overall player in his class from the state of Pennsylvania, according to the Rivals industry rankings. Currently, he has offers from the likes of Penn State, Syracuse, West Virginia, and Kent State.

He had 24 total tackles in eight games last season to go along with a sack, according to statistics from Maxpreps.com.

The 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class has only one commitment thus far, in quarterback Trae Taylor. The four-star signal caller is certainly an important piece of the class, and it appears as though the Huskers are going to make a push for top-tier talent in the class overall. Scott would playmaker on the defensive side of football.
