Oregon Ducks take jump in 2026 recruiting rankings with Anthony Jones

At this point, Dan Lanning and the Oregon Ducks are just showing off.

A couple of months ago, Oregon had a recruiting class that ranked in the 30s nationally, and many fans were wondering whether or not Lanning had lost his touch on the recruiting trail. Since then, however, the Ducks have landed commitments from a trio of 5-star players, a handful of highly rated 4-star players, and their class has jumped into the top 10 of the recruiting rankings.

Today’s commitment from 5-star EDGE Anthony ‘Tank’ Jones was just the icing on the cake.

Jones, who is rated as the No. 18 player in the class, only further boosted Oregon’s class that features the likes of 5-star TE Kendre Harrison, 5-star S Jett Washington, and 5-star OT Immanuel Iheanacho.

With the addition of Jones, Oregon’s class rose in the recruiting rankings from No. 11 to No. 7. The fun may not stop there, either. Over the next couple of days, the commitment announcements will come for 4-star CB Davon Benjamin and 4-star DL Deuce Geralds, both of whom are favored to pick the Ducks.
