Tennessee is recruiting to add a prospect to its 2026 football signing class.
Three-star defensive lineman Darryus McKinley included the Vols in his top four schools, along with LSU, Texas and Florida, according to Rivals. He will announce his commitment on Aug. 1.
The 6-foot-3, 270-pound prospect is from Acadiana High School in Lafayette, Louisiana. Acadiana is home to former Tennessee defensive back Kenneth George Jr.
247Sports ranks McKinley as the No. 70 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 19 player in Louisiana.
Tennessee offered him a scholarship on July 20, 2023. McKinley unofficially visited the Vols for a spring practice on March 29 before his official visit on June 20.
Tennessee has 22 commitments in its 2026 football recruiting class: quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, tight end Carson Sneed, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, defensive lineman CJ Edwards, defensive lineman Zach Groves, safety KJ McClain, safety Luke Thompson, defensive end Kedric Golston II, offensive lineman Edward Baker, wide receiver Zaydyn Anderson, quarterback Legend Bey, defensive lineman Dereon Albert, linebacker TJ White, cornerback Jamyan Theodore, defensive lineman Darryl Rivers, wide receiver Javonte Smith, linebacker Brayden Rouse, safety Jowell Combay, offensive lineman JB Shabazz and athlete Joel Wyatt.
