Michigan State football has extended an official offer to a three-star defensive lineman committed to a fellow Big Ten school.
The calendar turned to August on Friday and this meant official offers were able to be extended to prospects, which was the case for defensive lineman Djidjou Bah of Germantown, Tenn. He posted about his official offer from the Spartans on his social media X account on Friday morning.
Bah is a three-star defensive lineman with a recruiting rating of 88 in 247Sports. He ranks as the No. 65 defensive lineman and No. 12 player from Tennessee in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class.
Bah is currently verbally committed to Wisconsin. He picked the Badgers over notable offers from Michigan State, Missouri, Colorado, Duke, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Iowa, NC State, Northwestern and West Virginia.
The official offer from the Spartans could be something or it could be nothing depending on how you want to look at it. This official offer could suggest Michigan State is still pursuing Bah despite his commitment to the Badgers, or it could simply be checking a box and leaving a door open should be decide he’s no longer looking to go to Wisconsin. Either way, this is something to monitor in the background moving forward.
