LSU football earns commitment from 2026 4 star DL Deuce Geralds

BATON ROUGE – Make it two defensive line commitments in as many days for LSU football.

Four star prospect Deuce Geralds pledged his verbal commitment to Brian Kelly and the Tigers Saturday afternoon, announcing his decision via his social media pages. Three-star defensive lineman Darryus McKinley, the younger brother of current LSU defensive tackle Dominick McKinley, committed to LSU Friday afternoon.

Geralds, from Suwanee, Georgia, chose LSU over Ohio State, Ole Miss, Oregon and Michigan.

LSU now has 18 recruits in its 2026 recruiting class and Geralds is the sixth defensive lineman in the group, joining five-star Lamar Brown, four-star Richard Anderson, four-star Trenton Henderson, three-star DeAnthony Lafayette and McKinley.

Per 247sports recruiting composite, Geralds in the No. 95 overall player in the 2026 class and the 12th best high school defensive lineman in the country.

LSU is now up to No. 7 in the team recruiting class rankings after Geralds’ commitment.
