Wisconsin football extended an offer to class of 2027 wide receiver Bryan Porter on Sunday.
The Badgers join a collection of top programs on the three-star recruit’s offer sheet. He also holds offers from Auburn, Illinois, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers and Vanderbilt.
247Sports currently ranks Porter as the No. 366 overall player in the class of 2027, the No. 50 wide receiver and the No. 9 recruit from the state of New Jersey. On3/Rivals lists Rutgers and Penn State as the early favorites to land his commitment at 34.6% and 30.2%, respectively. Ohio State is in the next grouping, down at 11.3%.
Notably, Bryan Porter’s older brother, Quincy, was a five-star recruit in the class of 2025, ranked as the No. 23 overall player in the cycle and the No. 5 wide receiver. He helped to headline an Ohio State class that finished the 2025 cycle ranked No. 5 nationally and No. 2 in the Big Ten.
Bryan Porter’s recruitment is still in its early stages, with the 2027 cycle not set to heat up until next summer. His familial connection to the Buckeyes will be worth monitoring as the top suitors in his recruitment become clear.
The Badgers have yet to land a commitment in the class of 2027. Their class of 2026, which currently includes 14 commitments, ranks No. 60 nationally and No. 16 in the Big Ten.
