The Class 3A list of standout quarterbacks is a strong one in Iowa high school football in 2025. The position includes athletes who can use both their strong arm and legs to get the job done.

Here are some of the top quarterbacks in Class 3A in Iowa high school football in 2025:
TOP IOWA HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL CLASS 3A QUARTERBACKS
Gabe Arkfeld, Harlan, Senior
The latest Cyclone standout, Arkfeld threw for almost 1,800 yards on 56 percent completions with 17 touchdowns.
Noah Conley, Sioux City Bishop Heelan, Senior
Conley begins his final season with big-time weapons around him after throwing for nearly 700 yards and five passing TDs last year.
JP Elbert, Dubuque Wahlert, Junior
Elbert came on and shined, helping Dubuque Wahlert to a state championship. He threw for just 362 yards and four touchdowns, but did so on 33 attempts without throwing an interception.
Kellen Haverback, Mount Vernon, Junior
Haverback piled up 27 touchdowns with almost 2,300 yards in the air, completing 64 percent of his passes as just a sophomore. He also ran for 10 touchdowns on the year.
Eli Kampman, Solon, Senior
This should be a breakout senior season for Kampman, as he takes over for Ty Bell. Last year, he was 15 of 19 for 172 yards witha touchdown.
Nathan Manske, Algona, Junior
The next Manske to take control of the Bulldog offense, Nathan stepped in late last year and threw for 860 yards and 10 touchdowns with just three picks, completing nearly 62 percent overall while adding 140 yards and four scores with his legs.
