Vols flip commitment of four-star offensive tackle from SEC school

Tennessee flipped a 2026 football commitment from a SEC school on Thursday.

Four-star offensive tackle Kamari Blair flipped his commitment from South Carolina to Tennessee.

The 6-foot-6, 281-pound prospect is an in-state commitment from Kirkwood High School in Clarksville, Tennessee. 247Sports ranks Blair as the No. 27 offensive tackle in the class and No. 9 player in Tennessee.

Tennessee offered Blair a scholarship on May 13. He officially visited Tennessee on June 20 before announcing his initial commitment to South Carolina on July 16.

Tennessee has 23 commitments in its 2026 recruiting class. The other 22 commitments include quarterback Faizon Brandon, wide receiver Tyreek King, offensive lineman Gabriel Osenda, linebacker Braylon Outlaw, defensive lineman CJ Edwards, defensive lineman Zach Groves, safety KJ McClain, safety Luke Thompson, defensive end Kedric Golston II, offensive lineman Edward Baker, wide receiver Zaydyn Anderson, quarterback Legend Bey, defensive lineman Dereon Albert, linebacker TJ White, cornerback Jamyan Theodore, defensive lineman Darryl Rivers, wide receiver Javonte Smith, linebacker Brayden Rouse, safety Jowell Combay, offensive lineman JB Shabazz,athlete Joel Wyatt and athlete Salesi Moa.
