TNT Sports’ gives Big 12 Football prime-time stage

A new era of Big 12 football is here, and TNT Sports is putting it under the brightest lights yet.

The conference known for high-octane offenses and passionate fan bases is about to get a fresh spotlight, as TNT Sports rolls out its first-ever season of Big 12 coverage. The network is going all in, bringing live games, studio shows, and behind-the-scenes access across TNT, truTV, HBO Max, and Bleacher Report. For Big 12 fans, it’s more than a broadcast deal, it’s a complete reimagining of how the conference is covered.

The season opener sets the tone. On August 30, Arizona hosts Hawaii in a late-night kickoff at 10:30 p.m. ET, airing across TNT, truTV, and HBO Max. Calling the action will be J.B. Long on play-by-play, joined by analyst Mike Golic Jr. and sideline reporter Allie LaForce. Fans won’t just get the game, they’ll get expert breakdowns and in-depth storytelling from voices they trust.

Big 12 Saturdays won’t stop at kickoff. Studio shows will feature three household names with NFL and college ties, Champ Bailey, Takeo Spikes, and Victor Cruz, and led by host Adam Lefkoe. Their presence adds credibility and familiarity, giving fans analysis rooted in real playing experience. It’s a mix designed to keep Big 12 football front and center for a national audience.

TNT Sports is betting big on access-driven content. Starting Week 1, truTV and HBO Max will air XII Uncovered, a series offering behind-the-scenes looks at teams featured on TNT’s schedule. Thursdays will bring Inside the 12, hosted by Pete Sousa and Taylor McHargue, previewing the weekend’s slate with interviews and features.
