Michigan State football is gearing up to kickoff it’s 2025 season against Western Michigan this Friday night. As the game nears, a Jonathan Smith tradition has continued into another season.
On Wednesday, Smith went to X to announce the team’s Scout Team Players of the Week, an award designed to highlight players that went above and beyond in helping prepare the starters for the upcoming week.
This week, defensive ends Cal Thrush and Tyler Gillison joined defensive back Dorian Davis, running back Shawn Foster and OL Drew Nichols in earning the special honor from their head coach.
