Michigan State football is set to host a three-star Florida safety for an official visit in June.
Karaijus Hayes of Sarasota, Fla. announced on Wednesday that he’ll be taking an official visit to Michigan State in June. Hayes will be joining high school teammate Tyrne Wortham for an official visit to Michigan State on the weekend of June 6, according to his social media X account.
Hayes ranks as the No. 69 safety in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2026 class. He’s also listed as the No. 111 player from Florida in the class.
Hayes holds an 86 rating on 247Sports and is listed as a three-star prospect.
Michigan State is one of more than 20 schools to extend an offer to Hayes, according to 247Sports. He picked up his offer from the Spartans earlier this month. Other notable programs to offer Hayes includes Colorado, Georgia Tech, Illinois, Iowa, Louisville, Missouri, SMU, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest and West Virginia.
