Georgia football expected to earn official visit from four-star WR

Four-star, 6 foot-6 receiver Calvin Russell is keeping his recruiting options wide open. After revealing his top 12 schools, he indicated he plans to visit each one this spring, offering little insight into which programs are leading the pack.

Russell is ranked the No. 18 prospect in the country top-10 receiver had, but he had yet to schedule any unofficial or official visits. However, he did identify five schools he anticipates receiving official visits once his schedule is finalized.

“Syracuse, Miami, Florida State, Georgia and Florida will definitely get official visits, I will take some others too. Maybe Ohio State. All 12 schools are high on my list,” Russell told On3. (Subscription needed)

Russell plays high school football for Miami Northwestern in Miami, Florida. The talented receiver is ranked as the No. 3 player at his position and the No. 2 recruit in Florida in the 2026 recruiting cycle.

Russeel was a standout at the Under Amour camp. He is one of the tallest wide receivers in the country, but his fluidity and his ability to separate makes him an elite recruit. He is a prospect that Georgia football is making a priority.

The Georgia Bulldogs and head coach Kirby Smart currently have the No. 17 recruiting class in the 2026 cycle. UGA has just five commitments, but is expected to pick up the pace soon.
