Here is the latest injury report before Texas A&M vs. LSU on Saturday afternoon

No. 22 Texas A&M (21-9, 10-7 SEC) has arrived in Baton Rouge (LA) before Saturday afternoon’s regular season finale vs. LSU just four days after the Aggies’ critical 83-72 win over No. 1 Auburn, while the Tigers are coming off a blowout 31-point loss to Kentucky.

While this is simply a pride game for the home team, Texas A&M needs to finish out the regular season with a victory to secure the 5-seed in the SEC Tournament, while a 4-seed is still in play after Tennessee and Missouri lost this week, making things very interesting heading into the weekend.

On paper, Texas A&M’s elite defense and rebounding advantage give them a chance on the road, no matter the opponent. Against an LSU team that has won just three games in conference play, I have a hard time believing the Aggies won’t show up with the same energy we saw against Auburn with so much on the line.

Health is everything for the Aggies to enter the SEC Tournament with a chance to get back to the Championship round. According to the latest SEC Availability report, Texas A&M’s depth chart is 100% healthy, while LSU will be without freshman guard Vyctorius Miller, junior forward Jalen Reed, and freshman forward Corey Chest.

While Reed has been out for over two months, the Tigers have dealt with depth issues throughout the season, while the Aggies are one of the deepest rosters in the country.

Texas A&M will face LSU on the road on Saturday, March 8, at 3:00 p.m. CT. The game will air on the SEC Network.
