Clemson lands another huge wide receiver commitment in 4-star Connor Salmin

Clemson has secured another major offensive weapon in its 2026 recruiting class, as four-star wide receiver Connor Salmin announced his commitment Saturday night.

The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Maryland native chose the Tigers over Notre Dame and Penn State. Salmin has been a frequent visitor to Clemson since last summer and is rated No. 146 overall in the 2026 class by 247Sports. He also ranks as the No. 21 wide receiver and the No. 5 prospect in his home state.

His commitment marks the third pledge from the Elite Retreat weekend and the second wide receiver to join the class, following fellow four-star Naeem Burroughs. Salmin’s announcement also comes just a day after Clemson landed four-star offensive lineman Adam Guthrie.

Clemson’s 2026 class has now reached ten total commitments with the recent addition of four-star offensive lineman Grant Wise. The Tigers have been gaining momentum on the recruiting trail, bolstering their future roster with top talent across multiple positions.

With two wide receivers and two offensive linemen among the latest commitments, Clemson is making key additions to its offensive foundation for the future.
