Ohio State gets crystal ball prediction for in-state running back

A four-star running back has received a crystal ball prediction in favor of Ohio State. We told you recently that in-state running back, Favour Akih, had narrowed his list to three schools, which included the Buckeyes, Miami (FL), and USC. Now, recruiting expert Steve Wiltfong has logged an expert prediction for Akih to pick OSU with a 60 percent confidence level.

Ohio State got in the game late with Akih being one of the last to extend an offer. But once the offer came, it seems all signs are pointing to Akih becoming a Buckeye.

Growing up in Delaware, Ohio, just 30 minutes north of Columbus, it has been a lifelong dream for the young man to play football in Scarlet and Gray. Akih is currently a 4-star recruit according to 247Sports composite rankings and is listed as the No. 15 running back in the country.

We’ll keep an eye on this one, as Ryan Day and the Buckeye coaching staff look to keep Ohio kids in the fold.
