One of the Oregon Ducks’ top defensive line prospects in the 2025 class announced his college commitment on Friday, with 4-star Trajen Odom committing to the Ohio State Buckeyes.
Odom, who took multiple visits to Eugene, chose Ohio State over Oregon, Georgia, USC, Colorado, and UCLA. He took an official visit to the Ducks earlier this month.
Odom is a highly-rated prospect, rated by the 247Sports composite as the No. 283 overall player and No. 31 DL in the 2025 class. While he is verbally committed to Ohio State, it wouldn’t be surprising to see Dan Lanning and his staff continue to recruit him over the coming months and see if they can get him to flip before signing day comes in December.
