Notre Dame football 2025 safety target sets commitment date

Notre Dame football still has some room to add a few prospects to its 2025 recruiting class, and will know soon if another will join the group.

North Carolina safety JaDon Blair, according to this father on social media, will make his commitment on July 5th. The 6-foot, 4-inch and 190-pound member of the secondary will have seven hats on the table: Michigan, Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Florida State, Penn State, Louisville and the Irish.

Many expect the nation’s No. 158 overall prospect and 13th ranked safety according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings to pick Notre Dame. He currently has 5 247Sports Crystal Ball picks, each of them in favor of the Irish.

Notre Dame currently has Ivan Taylor, Anthony Sacca, and Ethan Long committed at the position, but wants another in the class. The hope is that Blair is that fourth and final piece.
