Giants OL Jermaine Eluemunor leaves Wednesday’s practice with apparent injury

Offensive lineman Jermaine Eluemunor, who signed with the Giants this offseason, exited Wednesday’s first practice of training camp with an apparent injury.

As you can see in the video below, Eluemunor appeared to take a forearm to his lower abdomen from Dexter Lawrence before going down to the ground, though the team has not given any official injury update.

Eluemunor was checked out by trainers, and while the cart was brought out as an option, Eluemunor was able to walk off the field and back into the facility.

The 29-year-old signed a two-year, $14 million deal with the Giants this offseason, joining Jon Runyan Jr. as potential starters on the offensive line. While Eluemunor could end up starting at guard along with Runyan, he was working with the starters at right tackle on Wednesday, with Even Neal currently on the PUP list.
