Josh Heupel and Tennessee’s football staff offered a scholarship to 2027 running back Kaneilius Purdy.
“Blessed to receive an offer from the University of Tennessee,” Purdy said.
The 6-foot, 190-pound running back prospect is from Lake Wales High School in Lake Wales, Florida.
There are not recruiting rankings currently for Purdy from Rivals, 247Sports, On3 or ESPN.
The Vols are one of four Southeastern Conference schools to offer a scholarship to Purdy, according to 247Sports.
Purdy has scholarship offers from Tennessee, Florida Atlantic, South Florida, Marshall, Florida State, West Virginia, Toledo, Western Michigan, Florida International, Oklahoma, Colorado, Georgia State, Auburn, Florida and UCF.
