Chris Wilson rushed for 151 yards and scored twice in the second half to lift the Trinity High School football team to a 20-0 victory over visiting Ballard on Friday.
Trinity led 3-0 at halftime before Wilson scored on runs of 1 and 70 yards in the second half. University of Louisville commit Carson Hilbert added two field goals for Trinity (6-2), which is ranked No. 3 in Class 6A.
Trinity quarterback Zane Johnson completed 9 of 14 passes for 134 yards. Jeremiah Lynn had four catches for 74 yards.
Ballard (2-5) outgained Trinity in yards, 290-283, but couldn’t get on the scoreboard.
Ballard quarterback Larry Irvin completed 18 of 31 passes for 172 yards. Daelyn Thompson had five catches for 56 yards.
