Week 6 in South Jersey football certainly didn’t disappoint.
As we get ready for Week 7, here are the latest rankings:

South Jersey Mean 15 rankings
Winslow (7-0, last week’s ranking: 1). The Eagles continue to fire on all cylinders as they put together another awesome display in a 58-0 win over Eastside on Saturday. Sophomore quarterback Jalen Parker threw for four touchdowns, raising his season total to 21. Winslow’s defense produced two scores and its third shutout of the season. Next: Friday at Mainland.
Millville (5-1, 2). The Thunderbolts had a bye week following a 23-7 victory over Delsea on Oct. 4. Millville’s defense has held opponents to one score or fewer in each of its five victories. The unit has racked up 18 sacks, including a team-high five by Darian Blachewicz. Next: Friday at Cherokee (4-3).
Holy Spirit (6-1, 3). The Spartans extended their winning streak to six with a 35-0 win at Delsea on Friday. Ty Costabile threw for three touchdowns, including a pair to Brady Kolbe. The junior quarterback has nine touchdown passes on the season with five in the last two weeks. The Spartans defense delivered its third shutout of the season. Next: Friday at Ocean City (5-2).
St. Augustine (5-2, 4). The Hermits’ defense stood strong against during a 28-0 victory over Lenape on Friday. St. Augustine held Lenape to just 42 yards, including just five on the ground, and produced a touchdown on Akeem Jones’ 25-yard scoop and score. The defense has yielded just one rushing touchdown in seven games. Next: Saturday at Rancocas Valley…
