Big, big-play wideout flips away from NC State
Less than a week after returning from Ann Arbor and an official visit to Michigan, 6-foot-4 South Florida native Jamar Browder has changed his commitment from the NC State Wolfpack to that of the defending national champs. We’re expecting a strong close for UM in the state of Florida in the end.
Bohm spotted in ‘Bama
Louisville head coach Jeff Brohm is hitting the road to recruit in the state of Alabama, home to longtime Cardinals quarterback commitment Mason Mims and several targets, among others. UofL also holds a pledge from state native and pass rusher CJ May.
Two-horse race for Carter Smith?
The Bishop Verot quarterback of course backed off of his Michigan commitment last week and many signs have remained in the Big Ten — mostly with Wisconsin at this point. However, over the last 24 hours there is considerable smoke towards Florida State becoming a contender in this race late in the game. It offers an in-state option and potential familiarity to the Southwest Florida native.
Of course the Seminoles have their own quarterback situation to eye on the trail as longtime commitment and fellow in-state four-star Tramell Jones continues to flirt with family favorite Florida. With Billy Napier now set to remain the head coach in Gainesville, could the Seminoles miss out on his pledge and replace it with Smith’s?
Multiple scenarios are brewing late in the game.
