Over the years, it seems that every time the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers have met, the eyes of the college football world fall on either Baton Rouge or Tuscaloosa for the clash between the SEC heavyweights.
The Crimson Tide and Tigers consistently play one of college football’s most anticipated games annually, with each game between the two usually having high-stakes attached to it more times than not. This has included trips to the SEC Championship Game on the line multiple times before for first place in the SEC West division, as well as the two even facing off for the national title during the BCS era once.
As you’d expect as well, Saturday’s meeting between Alabama and LSU will carry significant stakes also, as it practically serves as an elimination game for the College Football Playoff.
