Updating Tennessee rankings in college football polls after losing to Georgia

Tennessee football dropped seven spots in the US LBM Coaches Poll after losing 31-17 to Georgia in Week 12 of the 2024 season.

The Vols are now ranked No. 11 in the coaches poll. Georgia jumped from No. 10 last week to No. 8 in the updated coaches poll.

The AP Top 25 will be released later Sunday afternoon.

Tennessee was ranked No. 7 in the second College Football Playoff poll last week, but it will drop there, too. The updated CFP poll will be released on Tuesday (7 p.m. ET, ESPN).

Tennessee (8-2) plays UTEP (2-8) on Saturday (1 p.m. ET, SEC Network+) at Neyland Stadium.
