Ole Miss fans have had plenty to be excited about with this year’s squad.
The Rebels finished the regular season 9-3 with marquee wins over South Carolina and No. 3 Georgia. But some losses came particularly hard to stomach, including falling to a mediocre Kentucky squad at home, the overtime night game in Death Valley, and the fourth-quarter meltdown in the Swamp.

Ole Miss’ playoff hopes are exactly that at this point of the year, hopes. But the program’s upward trajectory didn’t stop with an Egg Bowl win over Mississippi State, as evidenced by the 2025 commits getting ready to put pen to paper.
The Rebels sit at No. 16 in the 247 Class Rankings with 21 total commitments, including 11 4-stars and one 5-star. One-third of the class comes from the state of Florida.

The Rebels boast seven commitments from Florida seniors just a few days before the early signing period begins, six of which are ranked in the USA Today Florida Top 100. If the current class stands as is, Ole Miss will bring in as many Florida natives next year as the 2021-24 cycles combined.
They’re recruiting the Sunshine State as effectively as in-state powers, and have the same amount of pledges as Florida State and one less than the Gators.
