LAWRENCE — Kansas football’s 2024 season didn’t reach the heights many expected, as the Jayhawks came up short of playing in a bowl game.
A challenging start saw the Jayhawks fall to 1-5, amid a five-game losing streak that leaked into Big 12 Conference play. Despite following that with four wins in their next five games, they ended up being routed in the regular season finale on the road against Baylor. It’s why Kansas finished 5-7 overall and 4-5 in Big 12 play.
But what did KU head coach Lance Leipold think about the teams that were in contention to finish the season in the top 25 of the US LBM Coaches Poll? Which Big 12 teams made his final ballot? Check out where Leipold ranked other teams across the country.
