How did Notre Dame football coach Marcus Freeman vote in final US LBM Coaches Poll ballot?

The 2024-25 college football season came to a close Monday when Ohio State defeated Notre Dame, 34-23, in the CFP National Championship Game in Atlanta.

This was an upset win for the Buckeyes based on the final regular season US LBM Coaches Poll, as Ohio State was ranked No. 7 and the Irish No. 3 heading into the College Football Playoff. The Buckeyes’ play in its four CFP games erased any doubt it was the best team in the country, though.

Once the Playoff ends, however, the coaches vote again for one final poll. Of course, Ohio State finished No. 1, receiving all 53 first-place votes. Notre Dame was 2nd, while Texas, Oregon, and Penn State rounded out the top five in that order. Nos. 6-10 were Georgia, Arizona State, Tennessee, Boise State and Indiana.

One of 53 coaches in America that voted in the poll was Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman. Did he see things the same way as others around the country?
