Nebraska continues to recruit class of 2026 defensive back

Nebraska football has emerged as a top school for 2026 athlete Danny Odem. Odem had positive reviews about the program in a conversation with Rivals.com’s Tim Verghese earlier this week.

Odem is the 44th overall corner in the 2026 class and the 77th overall player in his class from the state of Florida per the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He is a three-star prospect and has zero Crystal Ball predictions at this time.

He has 19 offers in total, including from Florida, Florida State, Miami, North Carolina, Penn State, and Wisconsin.

The corner has recorded tackles in three years of varsity statistics. He has also proven to be a ball hawk, tallying five interceptions as well. He reported 45 tackles, two interceptions, and 10 games in 2024, according to statistics from Maxpreps.com.

Odem indicated he had a strong relationship with coach Matt Rhule, as he told Verghese

“.Coach Rhule is my dawg, I see great things at Nebraska happening in the future”

Nebraska continues to draw from the state of Florida, and Odem would be another solid addition. The program has been trying to rebuild the secondary, particularly this offseason, and he would be a solid development piece for the future.
