Nation’s No. 4 RB names top schools

Four-star running back recruit Deshonne Redeaux has included the Georgia Bulldogs in his top six schools. Redeaux is ranked as the fourth-best running back in the class of 2026, per 247Sports.

Redeaux plays high school football for Oaks Christian High School in Westlake Village, California. Westlake Village is located west of Los Angeles. Redeaux is an elite track athlete and is one of the fastest running back recruits in the country.

The 5-foot-10, 195-pound running back’s top six schools are the USC Trojans, Washington Huskies, Oregon Ducks, Michigan Wolverines, UCLA Bruins and Georgia Bulldogs.

Redeaux is the No. 90 recruit in the country and the No. 14 prospect in California. He’ll provide an impressive combination of speed and explosiveness wherever he plays college football. The four-star has drawn comparisons to former Georgia Tech and Alabama running back Jahmyr Gibbs, who is now in the NFL with the Detroit Lions.

Running back Deshonne Redeaux finds an opening during the first quarter of Oaks Christian’s 35-0 Marmonte League win over St. Bonaventure Friday night at Redell Field.

Redeaux has recently visited USC, UCLA and Washington. Georgia has been in the mix for Redeaux for a while, but UGA is pretty far away from California, so it is not as convenient to visit.

Redeaux could be the next elite running back from California to sign with Georgia. The Bulldogs signed the top running back in the class of 2024 in Nate Frazier, who had a very impactful freshman season with Georgia.
