Here’s how you can watch Saturday’s MSU-Notre Dame hockey game

Michigan State hockey will play for a Big Ten title on Saturday night.

The Spartans wrap up the 2024-25 regular season in a road tilt at Notre Dame on Saturday evening. Michigan State will clinch a share of the Big Ten regular season championship with a regulation victory over the Fighting Irish.

Michigan State took care of business against last place Notre Dame on Friday night with a 5-2 victory. That result combined with a Minnesota overtime loss to Penn State means the Spartans and Golden Gophers are tied at 47 points each in the Big Ten standings heading into the final night of the regular season.

Michigan State’s game against Notre Dame on Saturday will face off approximately two hours before Minnesota plays Penn State. So Michigan State will have the first crack at clinching at least a share of the Big Ten title before the Golden Gophers play later that night.

Michigan State has won all three of the previous regular season matchups between the Spartans and Fighting Irish. Michigan State is 23-6-4 overall and Notre Dame is 10-22-1 on the year.
