See the full 2025-26 schedule for Ball State football

The Mid-American Conference announced its 2025-26 football schedule on Wednesday morning, becoming the last Division I football conference to do so.

Mike Uremovich’s debut season as the Ball State head football coach will begin with a road game at Purdue — Uremovich’s alma mater. A road game at Auburn, a home opener against New Hampshire and another road game at Connecticut round out the nonconference schedule for the Cardinals.

As for conference play, the Cardinals will open MAC play at home against Ohio, the reigning conference champions. The schedule also features one last edition of The Battle for the Bronze Stalk with Northern Illinois, who is leaving the MAC for the Mountain West after the 2025-26 season.

“As we start spring practice next week, it’s exciting to see our 2025 schedule become official,” Uremovich said in a statement released by the university. “We have a very challenging non-conference schedule that will prepare us for conference play. There is a tremendous amount of work that needs to be done in our program between now and our opener at Purdue. Our staff could not be more excited to begin the on-the-field phase with next Tuesday’s first spring practice!”
