Auburn to host four-star Michigan commit for official visit

Auburn football is working to flip a four-star cornerback committed to a Big Ten power.

Brody Jennings, a 2026 Michigan commit from Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida, will take his official visit to Auburn on May 16 according to a report by Steve Wiltfong of On3. In an interview with On3, the four-star cornerback says that his growing relationship with cornerbacks coach Wesley McGriff has caused Auburn’s stock to rise.

”(Auburn is) a great school with a great culture! One of my favorite Corners I like to watch went there (Carlton Davis),” Jennings said in an interview with On3. “I have high standards for myself and Coach Crime has high standards for his DB’s which I love because he says that’s “Top Shelf” meaning to do something that’s Successful or better yourself! He’s a coach that wants to develop you, make you a great player and person. Not good, great!”

Jennings recorded 29 tackles last season for Mandarin High School with an interception, three pass deflections, and two fumble recoveries. He announced his commitment to Michigan last July, and is still favored to ultimately sign with the Wolverines as part of this signing class. However, Auburn and Illinois are quickly flying up the radar with his official visits on the verge of taking place. Jennings will visit Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, and Auburn before wrapping his tour at Michigan on June 21.

Jennings is the No. 16 cornerback of the 2026 recruiting cycle, and is the No. 19 player from Florida according to On3’s rankings.
