Lane Kiffin, Ole Miss football aren’t holding a spring game. Here’s what fans can expect instead

OXFORD — Ole Miss football is not holding a spring game, but Rebels fans still have a chance to see the 2025 football team up close.

“Meet the Rebels Day” will be held April 12 at the Manning Center, Ole Miss announced Tuesday in a news release. It will be the highlight of Ole Miss’ spring football practices. It is a chance for fans to get player autographs and hear from coach Lane Kiffin and the staff in a question-and-answer program.

“In keeping with our program’s pro mindset, we are taking a business-like approach with our spring drills with the focus of improving as a team,” Kiffin said in a statement. “After careful thought, including the timing of the other spring events, we determined it was best not to hold a spring game.”

Ole Miss will begin spring football drills on March 18. Practices are closed to the public.

The event is tentatively set for 1 p.m, which is three hours before Ole Miss baseball hosts Tennessee for a game at Swayze Field. Admission to the spring football event will be free.

“We look forward to hosting a fan day for the Ole Miss family to engage with our players on a personal level,” Kiffin said.
