Alabama football loses another tight end for spring to injury

Another member of the Alabama football tight end room is reportedly out for the rest of spring.

Marshall Pritchett, a true freshman out of Rabun Gap, Georgia, will miss the rest of spring with an injury, per Bama247. Pritchett is expected to recover in time of preseason camp.

In a video posted by Yea Alabama on Tuesday, Pritchett was seen with a large brace along his right leg.

While participating in the Under Armour All-America game in January, Pritchett left the game with an injury and later posted a photo in a hospital bed posing with a doctor. According to multiple reports, Pritchett had suffered a broken clavicle.

Pritchett was the No. 284 player and the No. 15 tight end in the 2025 recruiting class.

Alabama will not have Kaleb Edwards, the other tight end in the 2025 recruiting class, until summer. Danny Lewis was also deemed out for spring by the Crimson Tide coaching staff.

Along with returners Josh Cuevas and Jay Lindsey, Alabama added Weber State transfer Peter Knudson to its tight end room.

Alabama will hold its A Day spring game at noon April 12 at Bryant-Denny Stadium.
