Travis Hunter explains how he made time to play offense and defense at Colorado

Top NFL draft prospect Travis Hunter explains his biggest lesson from college and how he plans to play both sides of the football as a pro.

Former NFL coach Frank Reich will serve as Stanford football’s interim head coach for the 2025 season, the program announced Monday.

Reich coached the Indianapolis Colts from 2018-22. His first year in Indianapolis coincided with the final season of former Colts quarterback — and current Stanford general manager — Andrew Luck. Reich was mostly recently the head coach of the Carolina Panthers in 2023, though he was fired 11 games into the season after a 1-10 start.

Reich, 63, will serve in the role for only one season, according a report by ESPN.

“I could not be more excited for our coaches, staff and players to have Frank as our head football coach for the 2025 season,” Luck said in the announcement. “I have experienced first-hand the incredible impact Frank has demonstrated as a leader and have full confidence he is the perfect steward for this season of Stanford Football.

“Frank is a teacher, a winner and a coach of the highest caliber. Frank’s values align seamlessly with our vision for this program and I firmly believe in his ability to maximize the on-field potential of our student-athletes while serving as a role model in all aspects of their personal growth.”
