Nebraska football offers Syracuse commit Javieon Cooper

Class of 2026 four-star offensive lineman and Syracuse commit Javieon Cooper received an offer from Nebraska on Friday afternoon.

Cooper was the 27th overall offensive tackle in the 2026 class and the 45th overall player in his class from the state of Florida, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings. He committed to Syracuse on December 10.

He had 12 offers in total, including ones from Ole Miss, Colorado,Florida, Florida State, and Penn State. He is set to have a busy summer, as he will visit USF on June 6, Syracuse on June 13, and UCF on June 20. All of the visits will be official.

Cooper measures in at six-foot-four, 295 pounds. However, they have been busy setting up visits as they look to make a summer push for these recruits. The Huskers have been known to be able to flip recruits at a high level. Cooper would continue to add additional depth on the offensive line, and give the program stellar line play moving forward.

Nebraska currently has no commitments in the 2027 recruiting class.
