Everything Georgia fans need to know about the G-Day scrimmage

The Georgia Bulldogs’ annual spring football game is coming up. Georgia play in their G-Day scrimmage on Saturday, April 12 at 1:00 p.m. ET.

The spring game will not be televised, but fans will be able to tune in via the Georgia Bulldog Sports Network radio broadcast. Georgia fans will have a chance to watch new projected starting quarterback Gunner Stockton and company compete against a new-look Georgia defense.

“All the fans and the atmosphere,” said Georgia Bulldogs senior safety JaCorey Thomas on what he is looking forward to about G-Day. “You know, I like that Georgia-Athens atmosphere. Playing in the stadium would be a little different because we’ve been playing in front of nobody right now, so I like to see that.”

Where to get spring game tickets

Georgia fans can get tickets for G-Day via Georgia’s official website. Tickets cost $10 for most fans (student tickets are free) and will be delivered electronically to mobile devices. Concessions will be available throughout Sanford Stadium.

G-Day schedule

Gates to Sanford Stadium open at 10:30 a.m. ET (all times ET). Fans that enter the stadium early will be able to watch a letterman flag football game at 10:45 a.m. The Dawg Walk starts at 11:50 a.m. and the spring game kicks off at 1:00 p.m.

G-Day typically lasts about two hours, but the 2025 version could be different because the scrimmage won’t be televised. Georgia’s 2025 regular season opener is against Marshall on Aug. 30.
