There is no surprise that the first official entry to the 2025 spring transfer portal out of Texas A&M is Micah Hudson.
Hudson’s journey with the Texas A&M Aggies was short-lived but eventful. Joining the team in December, the highly anticipated wide receiver brought excitement to fans as a former 5-star recruit. However, rumors soon began circulating about his status, and head coach Mike Elko confirmed during a spring practice press conference that Hudson was not only taking time away from the Aggies but was no longer part of the team.
His talent as a standout college football player has never been in question. He initially made headlines during his recruitment process, narrowing his choices before committing to Texas Tech out of high school. Despite having all the tools to become a top NCAA wide receiver, Hudson has struggled to find consistent footing early in his college football career.
Fans of Texas A&M football will certainly remember Hudson’s brief stint with the Aggies, while college football enthusiasts across the nation hope to see him harness his potential and make a strong comeback. For all the latest updates for the Spring Transfer portal, visit here.
