Bozeman football head coach Bronson Sweatt has resigned, according to an email from athletic director Andrew Halford. Sweatt, who took the job just last year went 5-5 and missed the state playoffs.
“Our administration, staff, and students are very appreciative for the time and dedication Coach Sweatt has provided in the classroom and with our Football program. We want to thank him and his family for their dedication to DBS throughout his time here and wish them the best in their future endeavors,” Halford said in a statement.
The News Herald has reached out to coach Sweatt and will update this page with any further details.
Spring football is set to begin on April 28th and Halford said the search for the next head football coach begins immediately.
