James Colzie III is the head coach of the FAMU Rattlers football team.
Florida A&M wide receiver Quan Lee has entered the NCAA transfer portal.Lee, a rising redshirt junior, played two seasons at FAMU after transferring from Central Florida.He was a member of the Rattlers’ 2023 Black College Football National Championship team.The transfer portal spring window closes April 25.

On April 17, the rising redshirt junior announced his intent to open his recruitment via X/Twitter. Lee stated he will keep his options open with two years remaining eligibility.
Lee spent two seasons with the Rattlers after transferring from Central Florida. The Gainesville native started for FAMU during the 2024 season, tallying 27 receptions for 310 yards and two touchdowns for the 7-5 Rattlers.
He was a member of FAMU’s 2023 Black College Football National Championship team.
Lee prepped at Buchholz High School, graduating in 2022. Based on the stats provided, the Gainesville Sun believes the former four-star recruit is Alachua County’s all-time leader in receiving yards (2,824).
The transfer portal’s spring window closes for player entry on Friday, April 25.
FAMU football opens its 2025 season on Aug. 30 at Miami Garden’s Hard Rock Stadium versus the Howard Bison.
