WEST LAFAYETTE ― Jude McCoskey proved you can go home again.

Kind of.

The Terre Haute native played his first two college football seasons in his hometown for the Indiana State Sycamores. McCoskey entered the transfer portal, ending up at Tulane. After spring camp, McCoskey re-entered the portal.

On Thursday, McCoskey committed to Purdue football, returning to his Indiana roots.

The 6-foot-8, 300-pounder adds much needed help for a Boilermaker offensive front that has had four linemen enter the transfer portal since it opened on Wednesday.

McCoskey, a former Class 5A Indiana all-state lineman at Terre Haute South, played 22 games for the Sycamores the past two seasons, including the 2024 season opener at Purdue.
