VIDEO: How Arkansas football QB Taylen Green is developing chemistry with new receivers
Arkansas football QB Taylen Green will need to develop chemistry with multiple new receivers during spring football, which begins March 10.
FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas football program’s annual Red-White Game has been canceled due to inclement weather, the university announced Saturday morning.
The scrimmage that puts a cap on spring practices was originally scheduled for 1 p.m. inside Razorback Stadium. This is the third time in the last eight years weather has impacted the Razorbacks’ Spring Game.
In 2017 and 2022, the Hogs moved the scrimmage inside the Walker Pavilion indoor facility. However, head coach Sam Pittman is electing to forgo this year’s 15th spring practice altogether.
Arkansas had originally planned to conduct an autograph session inside the Broyles Center concourse, however, the university also elected to cancel that event ‘in the interest of student-athlete and fan safety’. A fan event featuring autographs with the team will be scheduled later this year during the Razorbacks’ preseason practices.
With spring practices in the rear-view mirror, the Hogs’ focus now shifts toward the transfer portal and gearing up for the 2025 schedule. Arkansas opens the next season at home against Alabama A&M on Aug. 30.
