Northern Arizona offensive tackle Clinton Azubuike has committed to Vanderbilt football in the transfer portal, he announced on social media April 22.
The 6-foot-9, 300-pounder is a rising sophomore hailing from Lagos, Nigeria. He originally committed to Northern Arizona, an FCS school, over Hawaii, UAB, Buffalo and Campbell. In the portal, he also had offers from Baylor, Kansas State and Boise State.
In the immediate future, Azubuike projects as a depth piece on the offensive line who has a chance to start at tackle down the line. He is a developmental piece to pair with many of the more experienced linemen on the team such as Jordan White, Chase Mitchell, Bryce Henderson and Isaia Glass. Vanderbilt did not take any offensive linemen in its 2025 recruiting class and has only two total underclassmen at the position.
He is the second transfer commitment for Vanderbilt during the spring window. The Commodores also added Tre Richardson from Division II Washburn.
