Where LSU baseball ranks in every national top 25 poll this week

The Week 11 baseball rankings are out, and we have movement at the top of the polls as the SEC continues to beat itself up. The Georgia Bulldogs, the No. 3 team in the country last week, got swept on the road by Vanderbilt. After the sweep, the Commodores climbed into the top 10.

As for LSU, the Tigers hosted a sliding Alabama squad. LSU won the first two games of the series before the Tide were able to salvage a win in game three. LSU has moved up into the top eight in every poll. Eight is the magic number as the top eight seeds in the NCAA Tournament get to host a Super Regional should they advance out of round one.

LSU baseball’s highest slot this week is No. 4, where Perfect Game and Baseball America have the Tigers.

This weekend, LSU will welcome Tennessee to Alex Box Stadium for what should be a great series between two teams who have emerged as the SEC’s premier programs in recent weeks.
