2027 four-star defensive back Bryson Brown will be in Lincoln this weekend for a visit. He made the announcement on social media. Brown is the 127th overall player in the 2027 class, and the third overall player at his position according to Rivals rankings.
Brown has an extensive offer sheet that includes the likes of Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Penn State and Texas A&M among others. He has 16 offers in total.
He appeared in two games last season for Owasso High School. He recorded six tackles, per statistics from MaxPreps.com.
Currently, the 2027 Nebraska football recruiting class has no commitments. However, the program is scheduling more visits throughout the summer. Nebraska has been looking at the safety position recently, as former Florida Gators commit and 2027 safety Devin Jackson is also expected to come to Lincoln later this summer. It’s clear that safety is a priority.
The program is trying to cover all the bases in recruiting, and safety is certainly a position of focus at the moment. One has to wonder what the recruiting board looks like, and where Brown sits.
