While the Cyclones celebrated Jayden Higgins, Darien Porter, Jaylin Noel and Jalen Travis getting drafted and a bunch more securing undrafted free agency deals, they also wrapped up spring football and got a very early look at what the 2025 team may look like.
The puzzle is far from complete and there are still some players who haven’t had a chance to make an impression yet and will be joining the team later this offseason. Iowa State got two additions for its offensive line during the spring football transfer window, Austin Barrett (Indiana) and Derek Jensen (Wisconsin).
Also, Iowa State had 11 players from its 21-man 2025 recruiting class enroll early to participate in spring football, but offensive players Karon Brookins (wide receiver), Xzavion Robinson (wide receiver), Jayden Jackson (running back) and Vaea Ikakoula (offensive lineman) will be arriving soon.
