Brandon Arrington, one of the top overall athletes in the 2026 recruiting class, has officially narrowed down his list of finalists to five, a group that includes the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Alongside the Crimson Tide, Arrington also listed the Oregon Ducks, Penn State Nittany Lions, Texas A&M Aggies, and USC Trojans in his top five.
According to the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings, Arrington is considered as the No. 9 overall player in the 2026 class, as well as the No. 1 prospect in the state of California where he attends Mount Miguel High School. The five-star prospect is also ranked as the No. 1 overall athlete in the class.
At the moment, Alabama’s 2026 recruiting class sits at No. 30 nationally according to the 247Sports Team Rankings with only five commitments. The highest-rated of that group is five-star cornerback Jorden Edmonds, the nation’s No. 23 overall player out of Sprayberry High School in Georgia.
Arrington will make his commitment decision between the five programs July 5.
