Landon Duckworth led the Jackson Aggies to the AHSAA Class 4A state title last season
A recruit that could top Auburn’s 2026 recruiting class has locked in a summer visit.
Landon Duckworth, a four-star QB from Jackson High School (Alabama), has revealed his upcoming official visit schedule, which includes Auburn. He will visit the Plains on May 16, followed by Georgia (May 30), South Carolina (June 6), Florida State (June 13), and Ole Miss (June 20).
For most of his recruitment, Duckworth’s interest has been out-of-state. The one-time South Carolina commit has been courted heavily by Georgia and Ole Miss in recent months, but Auburn is the lone in-state program to lock in an official visit with Duckworth. The Jackson High School signal caller led the Aggies’ high-octane offense by passing for 3,439 yards and 31 touchdowns last season, and was second in rushing with 648 yards and 12 additional scores.
Duckworth recorded at least 100 total yards in every game for Jackson last season, and gained at least 200 yards in 10 of 15 games. He gained 579 yards in Jackson’s win over Mobile Christian in September and gained 347 yards in the Aggies’ state championship win over Cherokee County.
Duckworth is not the only Jackson High product that Auburn has its eyes on. Jackson running back Ezavier Crowell has Auburn in his top schools, and is slated to announce his commitment in the near future.
