Receiver Roderick Tezeno commits to USC football, recruiting stays hot

USC balances its Southern California recruiting wins with Louisiana pickup of 2026 receiver.

On Wednesday, USC football continued to add to its already loaded 2026 recruiting class. The Trojans went into Louisiana and landed a top-500 player in the country, three-star wide receiver Roderick Tezeno.

USC, in building the top 2026 football recruiting class in the country, has collected a lot of local recruiting wins in Southern California. This time, the Trojans went into the Deep South and SEC country for a prime recruit. Shoring up local recruiting is and has been Chad Bowden’s top priority since he came aboard as the general manager at USC, but it’s good to know that USC can still compete and win in other talent-rich regions of the country. Getting some pulls from the South reinforces not just the fact that USC football recruiting is on the rise, but that this recruiting improvement is national in scope. It goes beyond Southern California.

The Trojans’ 2026 recruiting results are sending a message which is resonating beyond Los Angeles and the state of California. Prospects in other parts of America are noticing as well.
