The Colorado State football team has finished spring practices but is still putting the finishing touches on the roster for the 2025 season.
There are two transfer portal periods in college football. One comes in December at the end of the regular season. The other comes in April. Players who intend to transfer must enter the portal during this time, but they don’t have to commit to a new school during the portal opening.
The spring portal is closed, which means there shouldn’t be more player exits, but commits are still incoming.
Here’s a look at the ins and outs for CSU in the spring portal period:

Transfers to Colorado State football
Here are the players who have committed to transfer to the Rams via the spring portal:
ISAIAH HANKINS
Position: Kicker
Previous school: Baylor
Notable: The 6-foot-1, left-footed Hankins participated in 40 games over the last four seasons at Baylor. He’s a career 71% on field goals and was 74% last season (14-19) with a long of 51 yards. His career long is 54 yards. Hankins was 50-for-51 in PATs last season. A career 71% field goal percentage would rank seventh all-time at CSU.
JAYDEN CORTELL
Position: Cornerback
Previous school: Colorado Mesa College
Notable: The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Cortell had 54 tackles, 2.5 tackles-for-loss, two interceptions and a fumble recovery last season at San Diego Mesa. Jayden is the son of Ron Cortell, who was a defensive back at CSU from 1985-88. The elder Cortell had 13 career interceptions as a Ram, which is tied for sixth in program history. Jayden Cortell is expected to have two seasons of eligibility remaining.
TAHJ BULLOCK
Position: Quarterback
Previous school: Akron
Notable: The 6-foot-3, 220-pound Bullock played in 22 games with three starts over…
